She was employed with Orian Rugs and was a member of Antreville Church of God.In addition to her parents, she is survived by a son, Kris Burns of Iva, SC; daughter, Stacie Diaz of Watkinsville, GA; brothers, James Tony Carter of Barnwell, SC, William Carter, Tim Carter, both Antreville, SC and Ronald Carter of Anderson, SC; sister, Lorraine Nichols of Antreville, SC and four grandchildren, Destine Diaz, Leeah Diaz, Abby Burns and Lucus Burns.A brother, Jack Carter and a sister, Patricia Ann Gleaton, preceded her in death.The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2006 at 11:00 am at Antreville Church of God officiated by her father, the Reverend James Carter. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Friday, July 14, 2006 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
