DEBORAH WELLS Deborah Ouida Davis Wells, age 66, of Townville, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015, at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Born in Tampa, FL on June 10, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Richard Davis and the late Cola Byrd Davis. For 31 years, she was the loving and devoted wife of Joseph H. Wells, Sr., of the residence. A graduate of Plant High School in Tampa, Mrs. Wells subsequently went through nurses training and became a licensed practical nurse. She retired from her nursing career from Lakeside Medical Center in Anderson. In addition to her beloved husband, Joseph, survivors include a son, James Erskine, III and his wife, Carolyn, of Babson Park, FL; two brothers, Richard Davis and his wife, Rhoda, of Brandon, FL, and Charlie Davis and his wife, Crystal, of Tampa, FL; two sisters, Cola Davis of Townville, SC and Joyce Hahn of Hawthorne, FL. Also surviving are five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service to celebrate and honor the life of Mrs. Deborah Wells will be held on Friday, March 27, 2015, at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Ron Fousek officiating.
