ELIZABETH "LIZ" WALLS May 2, 1916 - December 18, 2012 Della Elizabeth Walls, age 96, a resident of Ellenburg Nursing Center, entered her heavenly home upon her death at her residence on Tuesday, December 18, 2012. Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late James Browning and the late Martha Della Owens Browning. She was the loving wife of the late William Ernest Walls until his death in 1989. Mrs. Walls was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and housewife. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church, where she was active in the Carrie Griffin Sunday School Class. Survivors include a daughter, Jeanette Parker and her husband, Hugh, of Anderson; 3 grandchildren: Charlotte Boggs and her husband, Tony; Kelley Shaw and husband, Keith; Allen Parker and wife, Melissa; also surviving are 6 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Walls was preceded in death by 3 brothers, William, Bob, and Jim Browning; a sister Lois Walls; and a great-grandson, Ryan Shaw. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2012, at 12:30 PM at the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home, Rev. Bob Marcaurelle officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Thursday, December 20, 2012 from 11 AM until 12 Noon.
