Delores June Pennington "Nanae" Keenan, of Anderson, SC, loving wife to Rev. George Delany Keenan, ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, went to be with her Lord on Friday, March 18, 2022. Born March 5, 1948, in Parsons WV, she was the daughter of the late Junior Allen and Lola Kathleen Pennington. Delores was born in WV, and raised in Meyersdale, PA. She was a graduate of Meyersdale High School, Class of 1966. She completed her Bible training with Rhema Bible training center. She had various employment experience ranging from secretarial, medical, dental, and retail positions. She enjoyed life as a faithful minister's wife for over four decades, with ministry from PA to FL. She was a wonderful and loving sister, mother, and grandmother affectionately known as "Nanae". She had many talents, with an artistic touch involving interior decorating and had a wonderful singing voice. She loved God and was faithful to her Lord to the end of her earthly life, looking to the great resurrection. She will be truly missed by her husband and family as they look forward to the reunion with her in Heaven. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her only child, Kimberly Malaine Holbrook (Eric) of Anderson, SC; two sisters, Sharon Brown of Conover, NC, and Kathy Hanna (Tally) of Dryfork, WV; grandchildren, Ashlin, Olivia, Eli, and Elliot Holbrook; and eight nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her elder brother, Sheldon Pennington. A private memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at The McDougald Funeral Home, 2211 N. Main St, Anderson, SC 29621. Flowers will be accepted.
