Delrose Weiss Trutwin, 92, of Anderson, SC, loving wife of Francis Trutwin, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020 at her residence. Born August 30. 1928 in Pierz, MN, she was the daughter of the late Frank Weiss and Margaret Meyer Weiss. The Trutwin's lived in Minnesota many years before moving to Clearwater, FL, then later to Anderson, SC. She worked as a Sales Clerk at J.C. Penney Department Store in Florida and South Carolina for over 40 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. In addition to her husband Francis, she is survived by her son, Frank Trutwin (Rebecca) of Townville, SC, Arthur Trutwin (Michelle Rozell) of Woodland Park, CO, and Warren Trutwin (Heather) of Anderson, SC; and three grandchildren, Wesley, Julia, and Kymberly Trutwin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerome, and Roland Weiss; and a daughter-in-law, Tricia Trutwin. A prayer service will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at The McDougald Funeral Home followed by visiting of family and friends until 8:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Philip S. Gillespie officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions honoring church masses may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1200 Cornelia Rd., Anderson, SC 29621.
