Dennis Dale Cobb, age 68, of Anderson, SC, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born September 1, 1953, in Prince George Co., VA, he was the son of the late William Virgil Cobb and Katherine Lillian Mae Purdy. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Teresa Cobb. Dennis was retired from Michelin after 31 years with the company. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and classic cars. He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Gillespie Cobb; son, Danny Cobb (Susan) of Pendleton, SC; brother, Chris Cobb; sister, Patty Murray; and granddaughter, Kaytie Cobb. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 30, 2021, from 12:30-2:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm in the Chapel with Rev. Jeff Smoak officiating. Burial will follow at New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to in honor of Dennis to a charity of one's choice.
