Dennis Michael Mario Mattie, age 72, of Anderson, passed away at his residence on Sunday, August 30, 2015, with his wife by his side. Born on May 15, 1943, in Spangler, PA, he was the son of the late Ernest Mattie and the late Sue Urda Mattie. Following his high school graduation, Dennis enlisted in the US Air Force where he retired after twenty-three years of service having reached the rank of Master Sergeant. Survivors include his devoted wife of forty-four years, Celine Dzoba Mattie of the residence; and a brother, Richard John Mattie of Myerstown, PA. Following cremation, the family will schedule a private committal of the ashes at a later time.
