Dennis Edward Richardson, age 65, of Anderson, SC, passed away Friday, May 3, 2024, at his residence.

Born February 8, 1959, in Anderson, SC, he was a son of the late William "Bill" Richardson and Irene Borders Richardson Simpson. He was also preceded in death by his wife Donna Peace Richardson in 2022 after 42 years of marriage and brothers, Tommy, Wayne, Barry and Mark Richardson.

Dennis worked for BASF for 30 years and later, retired from Bosch. He held an associate degree from Tri County Technical College and was a graduate of McDuffie High School. Dennis enjoyed hunting, fishing, lakes and especially loved his time spent with his late wife, Donna, bird watching. He was a Mason, a member of Ruff Lodge #249, and truly lived the Freemason mission that each man has a duty to make life better for everyone.

He is survived by his daughters, Doree Richardson and Dena Richardson Bagwell (Roger); grandchildren, Dakota, Dawson, and Delilah Sue Bagwell; and brother, Robert Richardson (Mary).

The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 7, 2024, from 6 pm – 8 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at 2 pm at the chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Dyar officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park where he will lie at rest beside his beloved wife, Donna.

The family will be at their respective homes.
