He was a retired painter and was of the Baptist Faith.Survivors include his wife, Inez Burdette Alewine of the home and a daughter, Joyce Alewine of Anderson, SC.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Beebe.Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 21, 2005 at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home by the Reverend Dr. Ray Grant.
