ANDERSON Mr. Dewey A. Freeman, 78, husband of Pat Freeman, passed away Saturday night, August 1, 2015 at his home. He was a son of the late Cullen D. and Beulah C. Freeman. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass. He was also a former volunteer coach at the Anderson YMCA. He was a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church. Other than his wife, he is survived by sons, Brad Freeman and Marty Freeman, both of Anderson; granddaughters Elizabeth Freeman, of Anderson, Chandler Herbert (Matt), of Florence, and Alex Freeman, of Anderson; brother Roger D. Freeman (Pat), of Cartersville, GA; and sister in law, Ruby Nell Freeman, of Anderson. He was proceeded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 4th at 2:00 p.m. at the McDougald Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Cy Rogers and Kurt Stutler. Burial will follow at M.J "Dolly" Cooper Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. on Monday evening, August, 3rd, 2015 at McDougald Funeral Home. The family will be at the home of son, Brad Freeman, 1412 Country Meadows Rd., Anderson, 29626. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Rd., Anderson, 29621.
