Diane L. Hazelwood Antreville, SC Diane L. Hazelwood, age 72, of Antreville SC, passed away on February 17, 2014, at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center at Fort Gordon, Augusta, GA. Born in Brookings, SD, on July 26, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Leonard W. Christopherson and the late Sadie Dahl Christopherson. She was a lifelong Lutheran and member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir and was active in the women's group. Diane was an avid gardener, earning the title of Master Gardener and serving on the council of the Abbeville Garden Club. She sang faithfully in the Concert of Hope and Remembrance Choir. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Richard Allen "Dick" Hazelwood, Sr.; children, Cathy Hazelwood and her husband Jeff Ruble, and Caren Hazelwood, all of Columbia, SC and Richard A. Hazelwood, Jr. and his wife Ann, of Belton, SC; brothers, Vinal, Wayne and Gale Christopherson; a sister, Karen Nelson; and six grandchildren, Meghan, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Tucker, Sarah and Rick. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church with Reverend Chris Fischer officiating. A private family committal service will be held at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
