Dianne Garrison Whitfield, age 71, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson. Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Smith and Wyoma Huff Garrison. She was a graduate of Furman University and retired from Wachovia as a banker. Dianne was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Neil W. Whitfield; a son, Bradley Whitfield and his wife Wendy; a daughter, Carrie Rozakos Binnicker and her husband Todd; grandchildren, John George Rozakos, Anthony George Rozakos, Hanna Danielle Binnicker, Hope Gwendolyn Binnicker, Hayes Jonathan Binnicker, and Warren Whitfield. The Memorial service will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Jones officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
