Richard Lee "Dick" Mauger, age 88 of Anderson, SC, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at The Rainey Hospice House. Born November 21, 1930 in Fort Wayne, IN, Dick was the only son of the late Albert Mauger and the late Nellie Ellen Durbin Mauger. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1951 - 1954 during the Korean Conflict and was retired from Verizon. He enjoyed playing golf and watching basketball. During his career Dick and his family lived in Huntington, IN, Fort Myers, FL and lastly in Anderson, SC. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 66 years, Ann Whitty Mauger; his children, Richard "Rusty" Mauger, David Mauger (Michelle) and Kay Ridenour; five grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Ormsby. The memorial service will be held at The McDougald Funeral Home on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at 3:00 pm.
