She was a member of Nell Townsend Presbyterian Church and was a friend to all who knew her.She is survived by two sisters, Lucy Powell of Winston-Salem, NC and Beulah Clark Howard of Newland, NC; several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Benji.A brother, Donald Ingram and sister, Faye Ledford and Biddie Stockton preceded her in death.The family would like to thank the staff of AnMed Health Medical Center and her caregiver, Melinda Kinard.The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2009 at 2:30 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Sunday from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm.The family will be at their respective homes.A message of condolence may be sent to the family by visitingwww.mcdougaldfuneralhome.comThe McDougald Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
