DONNIE QUEEN March 23, 1944 - August 12, 2008ANDERSON, SCMr. Donnie Cullen Queen, age 64, husband of Linda Buffington Queen of 413 Auburn Avenue, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at his residence.Born in Oconee County, SC on March 23, 1944, Donnie was a son of Elender Arnold Queen of Anderson and the late Ralph Waldo Queen. He was a former truck driver with Am Can Transport. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church and attended Gethsemane Baptist Temple.In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his sons, Greg Queen and his wife Pamela and Stan Queen and his wife, Lisa; brother, Larry Queen and his wife, Cindy; four grandchildren and one great grandson, all of Anderson.A sister, Pam Smith preceded him in death.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Sam Duncan. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.The family will be at the residence.Memorials may be made to Gethsemane Baptist Temple, 6116 S.
