Doris Parham Cantrell, age 90, of Zebulon, NC, formerly of Anderson, SC, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2024.

Born August 28, 1933, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Johnny William "Beauford" Parham and Nora Mae Norton Parham. She was married for 62 years to Logan Fred Cantrell until his death in 2012. She was also preceded in death by her son, Billy F. Cantrell; and five brothers.

Doris worked at JC Penny for many years. She enjoyed sewing, word puzzles, reading, and cooking. She was a charter member of John Wesley United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Martha Haley (Mercer Burns) of Pendleton, SC, and Jackie Dean (Curtis Dean) of Zebulon, NC; seven grandchildren, Jeff Haley (Laura), Ben Haley (Alice), Renee' Burton, Daniel Cantrell (Bonnie), Dustin Cantrell, Kenneth Cantrell, and Anna Dean Hinnant (Jim); and seven great grandchildren, Taylor Burton, Kameron & Karson Haley, Bryson & Britt Cantrell, Isabella "Bella" Baessler, and Piper Hinnant.

The family will receive friends Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 1:00-1:45pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00pm in the Chapel. A private burial will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to John Wesley United Methodist Church, 523 Stone Dr., Anderson, SC 29625.

The family will be at their respective homes.
