Mrs. Doris Lois Jordan Ethridge, 83, of 416 Ponce de Leon Dr., Anderson, SC died Tuesday morning at An-Med Health Medical Center. Doris was born on August 26th, 1932 to the late H.T. and Annie Mae Tinsley Jordan in Anderson. She was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church and retired from Ryobi. Doris is survived by one sister: Barbara Wilson (Preston) of Anderson, SC; three brothers: James Jordan, Larry Jordan (Peggy), and Bill Jordan (Nancy) all of Anderson, SC; two grandchildren: Carla Hobbs and Chad Dutton; two great grandchildren: Maranda and Lacy Hobbs; and one brother-in-law: William Russell Roberts of Anderson, SC. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Tommy Ethridge; one daughter: Deborah Dutton; one granddaughter: Kelly Hobbs; four sisters: Cleo Roberts, Mildred Peace, Ida Mae Hanna, and Joyce Thomason; and a sister-in-law: Joyce Jordan. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 5th, 2015 at 1:00pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Owen officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson, SC. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, November 4th, 2015 from 6-8:00p.m. at the funeral home.
