OBITUARYMrs. Doris Lovern Moize, age 84, formerly of 109 Horse Shoe Bend Road, wife of the late Carl Cleatus Moize, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2009 at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Newberry, SC on May 25, 1924, Mrs. Moize was a daughter of the late William Henry Lovern Sr., and Clara Bell Howard Lovern. She retired from Ryobi, formerly Singer Company and was a member of Amarance and The Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Moize was a member New Prospect Baptist Church.Survivors include her brother, James E. Lovern and his wife, Dora of Atlanta, GA and sister, Gladys Wyly and her husband, Joe of Chapin, SC.In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by brother, William Henry Lovern, Jr., and sister, Eugenia Carroll Jury.The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Tom Turner.
