Mrs. Doris N. Williams, age 90, passed away on December 27th, 2016 in Jay, Florida. She was the daughter of the late Gaither Washington and Nettie Lawter Branch born on December 4th, 1926 in Pulaski, Virginia. Mrs. Williams was a member of McDuffie Street Church of God. Mrs. Williams is survived by her children: Carol Brumley and husband Dennis of Fremont, CA, Roger Williams and wife Frances of Berkeley, CA, Cynthia Heaton and husband Larry of Brewton, AL, Syretta Compton and husband Larry of Moore, SC and Lori Enfinger and husband Benny of Pace, FL.; 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband: Roy Burton Williams and nine brothers and sisters. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2017 at 2:00pm with the Rev. Ken Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson, SC. The Williams family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30pm on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2017 at the funeral home.
