DOROTHY FAY BLANTON July 3, 1922 - August 28, 2007ANDERSON, SCMrs. Dorothy Fay Cook Blanton, age 85, of 224 Broadway Lake Road, Anderson, SC, died Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at her residence.Born in Clinton, SC on July 3, 1922, Mrs. Blanton was a daughter of the late George Cook and Katie Irene Ray Cook. She was retired from Orr Mill and Wamsutta Mill with over 30 years of service. After retirement, she was an Adult Caregiver for several years and was a member of Saint Mary of the Angels Catholic Church.Survivors include her son, Michael Blanton of Anderson; two daughters, Barbara Winchester of Starr and Martha Blanton of Anderson; three sisters, Patricia Hilton and Betty McEwen, both of Astor, FL and Louise Gray of Anderson; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Cook, a sister, Johnnie Fletcher and a grandson, Rick Winchester.
