Dorothy Pippin Brumfield, age 93, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at her home.

Born March 7, 1933, in Florida, she was the daughter of the late Doris Pippin. She was married to Harold Gene Brumfield until his death in 2001. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry and Keith Pippin.

Dorothy was a member of Pope Drive Baptist Church where she formerly served was a member of the choir, and taught Sunday School. During her working years she was a legal secretary and church secretary. She loved people and volunteering with Meals on Wheels.

She is survived by her children, Steven Brumfield, Karen Juneau and Robert Brumfield; two grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 12:30-1:30 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm in the Chapel with Rev. Matthew Danuser officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
