On July 14, 2024, Dorothy Rae Ciplickas passed away peacefully in her sleep. She joins her husband of 53 years, Auksoulis "Ox" in heaven who passed away in January of this year.

Dottie was born in Queens, NY to Edith and Ray Tripp. She has two loving brothers, Robert and James Tripp. She graduated from Martin Van Buren High School and met the love of her life. They moved to South Carolina in 1997 to run Fastbolt Carolina in Piedmont.

She is survived by her loving son Jon and his wife Vicki. She was a devoted mother and a superstar grandmother. Her granddaughters, Sara and Hanna, were the joy of her life. When someone asked her what she did for a living she said, "I am a grandmother!" She took them to dancing school, soccer and attended every school and church event they participated in. Their great love was going to the Peace Center to see Broadway Shows and Musicals. And their favorite treat was an extra-large fry at McDonalds "for the car ride home!"

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at 11:00 am at New Silver Brook Cemetery with Deacon Salvatore Cancello officiating.
