DOROTHY CROSS December 23, 1934 - October 25, 2007ANDERSON, SCMrs. Dorothy Louise Stone Cross, age 72, formerly of Brookside Living Center, passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2007 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.Born in Anderson County, SC on December 23, 1934, Mrs. Cross was a daughter of the late M. R. Stone and Nellie Chastain Stone. She was a member of Homeland Park Baptist Church.Survivors include her daughter, Pamela Marie Ashley; two brothers, Martin Stone of Laurens, SC and Pat Stone of Anderson, SC; three sisters, Hilda Reeves and Sue Atkins, both of Anderson, SC and Margaret Morrow of Mobile, AL. Two granddaughters also survive.The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with the Reverend Larry Cox officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm.The family will be a their respective homes.Flowers will be accepted.
