Dorothy Ann Savage Falls passed away on December 4, 2016, at the Rainey Hospice House. She was the widow of William Harvey (Bill) Falls, the love of her life. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Floyd J. and Gladys Estes Savage, her brother Donnie Savage and his wife Delores, and her stepmother Gatha Gibson Savage. She is survived by the family that has been privileged to love her as one of their own: Pat and Robbie Seawright; Kelley and Tina Seawright and their daughters Kayley and Sally; Linda Martin and her children Laura Wilson (Mike) and Ches Martin (Carla and son Jackson). She received her bachelor's and master's degrees from Clemson University. She began her teaching career at McDuffie High School in 1973. Later, she served as guidance counselor at schools in Boca Raton, Florida. When she returned to Anderson, she became guidance counselor at Westside High School where she stayed until she retired. Dorothy was fun-loving, gracious, and generous. She enjoyed traveling, cooking (no recipe was too complicated), spending time with friends, and enjoying her pets.
