Dorothy Carroll Schall Jones, age 89, of Anderson, SC, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born October 7, 1932, in Broseley, MO, she was the daughter of the late Paul B. Carroll and Eva F. Butts Carroll. Dorothy enjoyed sewing and flower gardening. For over 50 years Dorothy was a faithful member of Church of God of Prophecy where she was a past Sunday School teacher and mission director. She is a current member of East Clemson Christian Fellowship. She is survived by her son, Jerry Schall and his wife Judy, and their daughter Amy Ledford, and her husband Chris; stepchildren, Everett Jones (Susan), Belson Jones (Amy), Phyllis Davis (Mike), Mimi O'Quinn (Lamar), and Martha Faires (Will); a host of grand, great, and great-great-grandchildren; and wonderful friend and caregiver, Fannie Lewis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her late husband J. Harold Jones, and first husband, William C. Schall; three brothers; and one sister. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 4, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at East Clemson Christian Fellowship. The funeral service will follow visitation at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Chucky Chandler officiating. A private family committal service will follow at Memory Gardens in Clemson, SC.
