Dorothy Ann Zamonis Kastner, age 85, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Ellenburg Nursing Center. Born in Pottstown, PA, on June 10, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Anthony Zamonis and the late Anna Virginia Bushoskie Zamonis. Dorothy was known as the "Queen Bee" of her family, she was sassy and you never wondered where you stood with her. She enjoyed many activities, among them were reading, crocheting, and travelling. Her favorite past time was the casinos and she never missed picking up her weekly Powerball ticket. Dorothy was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She is survived by her children, Bernard Joseph Kastner, Charles Thomas Kastner (Layla), Teresa Piotrowksy and Carol Ann Vaughn; 11 grandchildren, Matthew Piotrowsky, Michael Piotrowksy, Marsel Berry, Tyler Latimer, Christopher Latimer, Carrie Wroblewski, Joseph Kastner, Molly Kastner, Kevin Kastner, Bob Yang, and JJ Yang; and 5 great-grandchildren, Victor Piotrowsky, Davis Piotrowsky, Jenna Kastner, Kaelyn Kastner, and Carli Wroblewski. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Charles Kastner; and two brothers, Thomas and Anthony Zamonis. The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2017, at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Philip Gillespie officiating.
