Dorothy May Kirby McCullough, 79, of Anderson, SC passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Spring Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation in Beaumont, TX. Dorothy was born on May 16, 1938 in Philadelphia, MS, to the late Oliver P. and Nettie Stevenson Kirby. She was one of 11 children and attended school in Philadelphia, MS. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three sisters, seven brothers and devoted husband, Charles Austin McCullough. Her survivors include her daughter, Johnanna Theall (Derek); three grandchildren, April Cross (Jason Smith), Rachel Cross (Steven Hicks) and Johnathan Cross (Chelsey Travis) all of Beaumont, TX; four great grandchildren, Keaton Harrell, Cole Stadler, Ethan Stadler and Dallas Cross all of Beaumont, TX and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Graveside services will be held at 12:30 pm Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Dr. Dennis Tedder officiating. Entombment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
