Dorothy was 92 years old and was born in Honea Path on May 6, 1926. Mrs. Meredith was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Leonard C. Meredith and her son, Charles Leonard Meredith, Jr. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Arthur James Davis and Onie Mae Lollis Davis; five brothers and six sisters. Mrs. Meredith leaves behind two children, Lloyd Nathan Meredith (Pat) of Anderson and Wanda Meredith Boles of Iva; seven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; a twin sister, Martha Cole of Anderson and three brothers, Marvin Davis (Evelyn) and Jimmy Davis (Betty) all of Anderson, and Ralph Davis (Dot) of Honea Path. She also leaves behind a son-in-law, Howard Boles of Iva and a daughter-in-law, Shirley Meredith of Anderson. Mrs. Meredith was a long-time member of Trinity Springs Church of God and retired from Walmart in 1998. The family will receive friends from 12-1:30pm Thursday, August 16, 2018 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Mrs. Meredith will follow in the chapel at 2:00pm Thursday with Reverend James Patterson and Reverend Marion Snider officiating.
