Dorothy "Dot" Smith Osborne, age 83, of Belton, SC passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Rainey Hospice House. Born July 26, 1933 in Danville, VA, she was a daughter of the late Ballard Lee Smith and the late Rosa Belle Dixon Smith. She was a graduate of Danville High School, Danville, VA. She retired after 30 plus years of service from Kemet Electronics as a Quality Control Supervisor. She is survived by her sons, Rick Osborne and his wife, Jeanette of Williamston, SC and Randy Osborne and his wife, Monica of Moore, SC; daughter, Patty Jordan and her husband, Jimmy of Anderson, SC; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, June 24, 2017 in the chapel at The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Brent Lollis officiatng. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
