She retired from J. P. Stevens Company, Appleton Plant as a spinner and was a member of Barnett's Grove Cathedral of Love.Survivors include her son, Johnny Smith and his wife, Martha of Pendleton; daughters, Sarah McKee and her husband, Danny and Anne Snipes and her husband, Lee; sister-in-law, Peggy Shaw; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, all of Anderson.In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Earl T. Shaw.A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park officiated by Forbes Wilson.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.The family will be at their respective homes.Flowers are optional.
