Dorothy Sue Thacker Seymour, age 82, of Anderson, SC, passed away Monday, March 8, 2021, at Rainey Hospice House. She was born May 28, 1938 in Anderson, SC, and was the daughter of the late James Luther Thacker and Eula Mae Fleeman Thacker. She was the widow of Hershel Seymour. Dot loved crafting and was the owner of Dot's Variety Shop for many years. She was a member of River of Life Church of God. She is survived by her grandsons, Nick Sullivan (Angela), Patrick Sullivan, and Charlie Burton; granddaughter, Katie Burton; sister-cousin, Shelby Nixon; great-granddaughter and best friend, Nico Sullivan; and many other great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughters, Janice Marie Burton and Velessia Ann Ertzberger. The family will receive friends Friday, March 12, 2021, from noon-1:30 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev.
