Dorothy Thompson Askew, age 69, of Anderson, wife of Mickey Askew, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at Rainey Hospice House. Born in Woodruff, SC, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Margaret Thompson. She was also preceded in death by her nephew and niece, Lee and Jayme Casey. In addition to her husband, Mickey, Mrs. Askew is survived by her sister Peggy Casey and husband, Steve. She was the step-mom of Wes, Greg, and Mark Askew, and nine wonderful grandchildren. A celebration of Mrs. Askew's life will be held at a later date.
