Leonard Douglas Taylor, age 71, of Belton, SC, dedicated husband to Luanne McIntyre Taylor for 42 years, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2021, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born December 3, 1949, in Greenville, SC, he was the son of the late Charles Henry Taylor and the late Ethel Louise Smith Taylor. Doug graduated from Parker High School, Class of 1968 in Greenville, SC, and also graduated from Greenville Technical College. He worked for 27 years in the textile industry as a mechanical service technician, and 10 years as a Correctional Officer for SCDC where he later retired. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his loving wife, Luanne, he is survived by his children, Scott Edward Taylor, and Kami Taylor Styles, both of Belton, SC; brothers, Wayne Taylor (Chris) of Six Mile, SC, and Roger Taylor (Sheryl) of Greenville, SC; and sister, Myra Taylor of Easley, SC. There are no services planned at this time. The family will be at the residence. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Miracles of Sight, 3900 Westpoint Blvd., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
