Douglas Clark Heavner, 79, of Simpsonville, SC, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born September 3, 1941 in Connellsville, PA, he was the son of the late Eugene and Julia Laughrey Heavner. He was married to Mary Linda Heavner until her death in April. Doug was a veteran of the United States Navy and spent his career in the technology industry. He is survived by his sons, Richard Heavner and Jeffery Heavner; daughter, Lisa Heavner; and grandson, Garrett Heavner. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Josh Martin officiating.
