Born in Collinsville, Illinois, he was the son of the late John and Matilda Donelson Blyth. He was a pianist and a university professor. He was of the Presbyterian faith.Surviving are his wife, Helen Margaret Pruett Blyth; his daughter, Lynn Weatherman of Due West; his grandson, David Weatherman of Memphis, TN; and his granddaughter, Andrea Weatherman of Winston-Salem, NC.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, David Walter Blyth.A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2007, at 4:00 pm at Due West ARP Church with the Reverend Calvin Draffin officiating.
