Dr. Tina Gossett Hipp, age 54, of Huntersville, NC, passed away Monday, May 15, 2023, at Atrium Health Main in Charlotte, NC. Born December 21, 1968, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of Donnie H. Gossett and Doreene Gambrell Gossett. She was a loving wife to her husband Anthony "Tony" Hipp and proud mom to her son Noah Hipp. Others left to cherish her memory include brother Chad Gossett; parents-in-law Jim and Eleanor Hipp; brother-in-law Tim Hipp (Kathy); lifelong bestie Robyn Gambrell Knox; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; her four-legged friends Bella and Bentley; and all of her loving and supportive friends. Tina was a graduate of BHP High School Class of 1987. She attended Clemson University, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the Medical University of South Carolina and a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of North Carolina. She was an Internal Medicine Pharmacy Specialist with Atrium Health for over 25 years. Her "fun job" was being a Premier Director for Neora, which allowed her to live out her mission of helping others feel better. Tina was a bright light and full of energy, and she inspired everyone she encountered whether working out at Pure Barre, making rounds at the hospital, playing Bunco with her neighbors or traveling with her friends. Tina was a force of nature and encouraged others through her determination, focus, and faith. She was one of the most kind and generous souls! The family will receive friends Friday, May 19, 2023, from 6:00-9:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Second Baptist Church, Belton, SC, with Rev. Dwight Greene and Rev. Todd Lowe officiating.
