The McDougald Funeral Home2211 North Main StreetAnderson, South Carolina 29621864-224-4343OBITUARYWILLIAM 'BILL' SCHNEIDERMARCH 25, 1921 - April 18, 2009ANDERSON, SC ' Dr. William Paul 'Bill' Schneider, age 88, of 5539 Highway 187 (Wild Hog Road), passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2009, at the AnMed Health Medical Center.Born in Marietta, Ohio on March 25, 1921, he was a son of the late William Harvey Schneider and Laura Arend Schneider. He was received his B.S. degree from Marietta University and his PhD from the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Schneider was a research Chemist having worked for UpJohns Company, currently Pfizer, Inc., located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Following retirement in 1981, he moved to Anderson, SC. He was a member of the American Chemical Society and Zion United Methodist Church.Survivors include his wife, Sara L. Boniface Schneider of the home; a son, David Schneider of Anderson; daughters, Ellen Russell of Grosseile, Michigan, Alice Schneider of New York, New York, and Ann Furist of Kalamazoo, Michigan; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Marion S.
