Dr. H. Paul Wright, Jr., age 74, of Anderson, SC, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born May 4, 1947, in Detroit, MI, he was the son of the late H. Paul Wright and Edith Long Elrich. Dr. Wright was a graduate of Collinwood High School in Collinwood, TN, and a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. He served the citizens of Anderson for over 52 years as a chiropractor and was the owner of Anderson Chiropractic Clinic. Dr. Wright loved his community and was involved in many civic organizations. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 52 years, Janice "Jan" McCullough Wright; children, Edie Hardin (Todd), Paula Faie Allen (Jason), Paul Everett Wright (Mandy), and Tiffany Kay (Kevin); eight grandchildren; and a beloved aunt, Faye Willis. A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 10, 2021, at 3:00 pm at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Roy Mitchell and Rev. Bob Carlisle officiating. The family will receive friends following the service until 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Walker McElmoyle Fire Dept., P.O. Box 584, Pendleton, SC 29670.
