Mrs. Drew Willie Graham Hawkins, 85, of Lancaster, SC passed away with peace and grace on Monday, May 30th, 2016 at White Oak Manor in Lancaster, SC. She was the daughter of the late: Early Byrd and Sarah Butler Graham born on October 30th, 1930 in Anderson County, SC. She was a long standing member of Long Branch Baptist Church. Mrs. Hawkins will be remembered as a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and devoted wife. Her joy for life reflects in all she encountered. Surviving is her loving husband of 63 years: Charles Reuben Hawkins; one daughter: Jacqueline "Jackie" Mobley and husband Charles of Lancaster, SC; one sister: Barbara Ann Graham of Atlanta, GA; two grandchildren: April Mobley and Chris Mobley and wife Melanie and two great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hawkins was preceded in death by five brothers: Jasper, G.W., Edward, Buddy, and Worley Graham; two sisters: Laura Shahan and Geraldine Parnell; and a very special aunt and uncle: Jake and Mazell Shaw. A funeral service will be held at Long Branch Baptist Church on Wednesday, June 1st, 2016 at 11:00am with the Rev. Wayne Watson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Hawkins family will receive friends from 10-11:00am in the church social hall prior to the service on Wednesday. At other times the family will be at the home of Edith Vann.
