Andrew Jackson Helms, Jr. age 49, of Anderson, SC, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023. Born September 5, 1973, in Anderson, he was the son of Joy Glenn Helms and the late Andrew Jackson Helms, Sr. Drew had a passion for golf and the Clemson Tigers, but nothing surpassed the love he had for his girls. He had an outgoing personality and never lacked a friend in any room. Drew had a huge family whom he loved dearly and they loved him. He will be greatly missed. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Tina; daughters, Addison and Rachel Helms; brother, Nicholas Helms (Michelle); sisters, Leslie H. Brownlee (Townes) and Anslie H. Hunt (Shane); and nephews, Townes Brownlee and Holden Hunt. A memorial service will be held Monday, January 9, 2023, at 4:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home with Bradley Saxon and C.J. Carlton officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service until 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Bridge Center, P.O.
