DRUCILLA PATTERSON September 21, 1923 - December 16, 2012 ANDERSON, SC Drucilla Patterson, age 89, passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson, she worked for over 40 years at Equinox Mill, where she retired. She was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Patsy Cape; a sister, Mollie Harper; 5 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Patterson; a daughter, Brenda Adams; and two sisters, Mattie Thompson and Rachel Wood. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Ray Grant and Mrs. Helen Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the residence 106 Simmons Street, Anderson, SC 29625, and will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
