Everette Dwain Kelley, age 71, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at AnMed Health Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Born in Anderson, SC on August 20, 1944, he was the son of the late Lorenzo Eugene Kelley and the late Willie Mae Yeargin Kelley. He was formerly employed with Iva Manufacturing and Saddleman's. Kelley was a private pilot, a Nascar enthusiast, an avid outdoorsman, and a jack of all trades. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He was a member of Community Wesleyan Church, formerly known as Fellowship Wesleyan Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Ann McGukin Kelley; his son, Tom Kelley and his wife Angie, of Anderson; two daughters Tracy Kelley Williams and her husband Eric, of Columbia, and Nicole Kelley Weaghington and her husband Cody, of the home; a brother, Donnie Kelley; three grandchildren, Bryce Kelley, Layne Kelley, and Rylan Weaghington; his nieces and nephews, Tim Kelley, Kim Kelley, Tommy McGukin, Kim Garrison, and Faith McGukin; and his loving fur baby and sidekick, whom he loved dearly, Levi. The Funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Kelley will be held on Monday, February 8, 2016, at Community Wesleyan Church, at 3:00 p.m. with pastor and long-time friend, Reverend George Brassard, and Reverend Ron Rogers officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. The family will be at the home and will receive friends at the church, prior to the service on Monday, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Wesleyan Church, 2002 Elberton Highway, Iva, SC 29655.
