DAVID EARL PATTERSON July 14, 1942 - September 29, 2006ANDERSON, SCMr. David Earl Patterson, age 64, husband of Gail Rumsey Patterson of 3301 Abbeville Highway, Anderson, SC, died Friday, September 29, 2006 at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.Born in Anderson, SC on July 14, 1942, Mr. Patterson was a son of Nita Ruth Keaton Spindler of Chesapeake, VA and the late Edgar Earl Patterson. He was a United States Army veteran and a member of Gethsemane Baptist Temple. He was also a former member of Varennes Heights Baptist Church.Survivors include his wife, Gail Rumsey Patterson of the home; sons, Mike Patterson and Bobby Patterson, both of Anderson, SC; daughter, Julie Patterson of Anderson, SC; mother, Nita Ruth Keaton Spindler of Chesapeake, VA; brothers, Jake Spindler of Chesapeake, VA and Phil Spindler of Nagshead, VA. Eleven grandchildren also survive.In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Justin Patterson.The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 2, 2006 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverends Jack Rinks and Sam Duncan.
