Easton Levi Payton, 8 months old, passed away at AnMed Health Medical Center on Wednesday, December 23, 2015. Born in Anderson, SC on March 28, 2015, he was the son of Rodriquez "Rod" Payton and Kendall Ballew, both of Anderson. Easton was a loving baby with a contagious smile and will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his maternal grandfather, Thomas R. Ballew of Pendleton, SC; maternal grandmother, Crystal Hudson of Honea Path, SC; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Payton of Anderson; maternal great-grandmother, Deborah Ballew of Anderson; maternal great grandparents, Randy and Sommer Seagraves of Anderson; paternal great-grandmother Mary Ferguson of Anderson; paternal great-grandfather, John Payton of Anderson; maternal aunt, Makenzee Hudson, and great uncles, Roger Ballew, Jr. of Anderson, and Tony McCrider of Honea Path, SC. Little Easton was preceded in death by his maternal great grandfather, Roger Ballew, Sr.; maternal great-great grandparents, Randolph and Virginia Bryant; maternal great-great-great grandmother, Frances Seagraves; paternal great grandmother, Renee Payton, maternal great-great uncle, Alton Bryant and maternal great-great aunt, Kathy Segers. The funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Easton Levi Payton will be held on Monday, December 28, 2015, at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home, with Roger Ballew, Jr. and Dewayne Seagraves officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
