James Edward Ozmint, age 83, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2015, at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville. Born on November 26, 1931, in Iva, SC, he was the son of the late Joseph Hoyt Ozmint and the late Mittie Kutura Rice Ozmint. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1955 - 1957. He graduated from USC School of Pharmacy and owned Medicare Drugs in Anderson for more than 22 years. He also worked at Revco and CVS. Ed was a member of Graceview Community Church in Anderson, SC. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Ann Leverette Ozmint; two sons, Jonathan Ozmint and his wife Luanne, of Columbia, SC and Lee Thomas Ozmint and his wife Leigh, of Gadsden, AL; a daughter, Kelley Ozmint Davis and her husband Robby, of Greenville, SC; a brother, William Thomas Ozmint, of Atlanta, GA; and a sister, Imogene Terry, of Iva, SC; and ten grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Louise Bryant. For those unable to attend Thursday's funeral, the family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday November 11, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. There will be a reception at Graceview Community Church from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2015.
