Edith Parker Allen, 94, of Anderson, SC, passed away, Thursday, December 10, 2020, at her home. She was born June 25, 1926 in Anderson, SC, and was the daughter of the late Lillie Parker. She was also preceded in death by her first husband Paul Sheridan and her second husband, Marion A. Allen. Edith was a member of Freedom Center Assembly of God and formerly worked at Newton Shoes. She is survived by her daughter, Loretta Broome (Ray Broome); grandson, Blake Harris (Kacey); and nephews, Donald Milford, Charles Milford and Donald Parker. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 14, 2020, at 2:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Phil Sears officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Freedom Center Assembly of God, 213 E. Roosevelt Dr., Anderson, SC 29624.
