BROWN June 26, 1915 - May 30, 2006 IVA, SCMrs. Edith Tabatha Loftis Brown, age 90, of Hart Care Center, Hartwell, GA and formerly of 526 Park Drive, Iva, SC, died Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson.Born in Townville, SC on June 26, 1915, Mrs. Brown was a daughter of the late Gamble Loftis and Essie Duncan Loftis. She was a homemaker and a member of Generostee A.R.P. Church. Survivors include a son, Roger Brown and Dale Brown, both of Iva; daughter, Linda Vinson of Iva; sister, Nell Revis of Hendersonville, NC; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Brown; a brother, Edward Loftis and sister, Viola McKinney.A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2006 at 11:00 am at Iva City Cemetery officiated by the Reverend Jerry Gray.The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service.The family will be at the home of a granddaughter, Darlene Dickerson, 3212 Gentry Road, Starr, SC.A message of condolence may be sent to the family by visiting www.mcdougaldfuneralhome.com.THE MC DOUGALD FUNERAL HOME
