BARNETTMAY 30, 1923 - May 15, 2009ANDERSON, SC ' Edna Alexander Barnett, age 85, wife of the late Hunter Barnett, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2009, at her home, 345 Roberts Church Road.Born in Iva, SC on May 30, 1923, she was a daughter of the late George Weaver Alexander and Mattie Garrison Alexander. She graduated Gantt High School and was a homemaker. Mrs. Barnett was a member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church.Survivors include her children: son, Dennis L. Barnett and wife, Beth; daughter, Brenda Fulton and husband, Gary, all of Anderson; sister, Ruth Fennell of Taylors, SC; grandchildren: Denise & Gary McAlister, Dale Fulton, Gretchen & Tracey Locke, Mary Beth Barnett, Susan & Mike Binninger, Laura Barnett, and Seth Barnett; great grandchildren: Jordan and Kersten Fulton, Haley and Reece Binninger, Noah and Anna Grace McAlister, Hunter and Colin Locke.She was predeceased by her parents; husband; sisters: Beulah Moore and Hazel Gondek; and brothers: Milton Alexander, Walter Alexander, and Oliver Alexander.The Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 17, 2009, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Ray Thompson and the Reverend U.C. Neill. Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.
