KEASLER February 9, 1918 - July 12, 2006SPARTANBURG, SCMrs. Edna Marett Keasler, age 88 of 176 Woodridge Drive, wife of the late Robert L. Keasler, Sr., died Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at her residence.Born in Fair Play, SC on February 9, 1918, Mrs. Keasler was a daughter of the late I. Luther Marett and Mamie Cothran Marett. She was a retired teacher from Virginia and South Carolina schools. She was a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church in Fair Play, SC where she was a former Sunday School teacher.Survivors include a son, Robert L. Keasler, Jr., and his wife, Carla of Spartanburg, SC; sister, Lou Frances Lothery of Fair Play, SC; sister-in-law, Sue C. Marett of Fair Play, SC; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Richardson of Columbia, SC, Jessica Hansen of Charlotte, NC and Marett Keasler of Spartanburg, SC and two great-grandchildren, Noah and Nate Richardson.In addition to her husband and parents, a brother, Herbert D. Marett, preceded her in death.The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2006 at 2:00 pm at Beaverdam Baptist Church in Fair Play, SC officiated by the Reverend Mark Hughes. Serving as pallbearers are Wesley Lothery, Bryan Cowden, Brad Richardson, Bryan Hansen, Bennett Keasler, William Keasler, Don Burriss and Steve Snipes. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Friday, July 14, 2006 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
