MARTINNovember 4, 1923 - July 5, 2008BELTON, SCEdna Bowlan Martin, age 84 of 1006 Brown Road, Belton, SC died Saturday, July 5, 2008 in Anderson, SC.Born in Anderson, SC on November 4, 1923, Mrs. Martin was a daughter of the late Trenton Busha and Edna Mae Poore Busha. She was an associate of Wal-Mart in Anderson on Liberty Highway where she was affectionately called 'Miss Edna'. She was also a member of Whitefield Baptist Church.She is survived by her daughters, Jimmie B. Cromer of Belton, Jean Bowlan of Greenville, and Judy B. Joyner and her husband, Donald of Belton; six grandchildren, Kim Eaton of Easley, Sherri VanKuren of Dallastown PA, Kenneth Cromer of Jacksonville, FL, Tara S. Wilson of Atlanta, GA, Daron Seigler of Atlanta, GA and Michelle Lance of Liberty, SC. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, James E. Bowlan and, William S. Martin, Jr.; her brother, Hoyt Busha and sister, Joyce Cheek.The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at 11:00 am at Whitefield Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Dr. Charles D. Strickland and the Reverend Jimmy Smith. Mrs. Martin will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
